Monster Nitrous Super Dry

Finally, another new Monster! This caught my attention at a gas station and after reading the description, i was pretty convinced that i would get a pretty good buzz. Since i workout i was familiar with nitrous in bodybuilding supplements and that it supposedly gave you energy. Well this drink sure did give me a buzz. The first energy drink buzz I've had in a long time. The first ingredient on the list was carbonated and nitrogenated water. Along with the rest of the monster energy blend, the nitrous gave me a powerful long lasting energy boost. The taste was different than the other monsters. I did however taste a resemblance to the original monster. But what stood out the most was the smooth creamy taste. I also tasted a bit of sourness along with lime. All in all, great drink. I do recommend it

Rubyy

Rubyy is a luxury energy drink that comes in a great looking bottle. The bottle is black and it is 12 oz. The drink has orange, blood orange, and tangerine juice concentrate. The taste is very clean and has no bitterness like rumba energy juice. There is a slight hint of carbonation but not enough to sting your throat. overall, this orange drink tastes great and doesn't have bitterness like you see in other orange energy drinks. The energy buzz was great too, you don't get a monster or rockstar buzz but it is comparable to red bull. The energy comes from 80mg of caffeine, taurine, b vitamins and guarana.

Wired Berry Rush

Wired X Berry Rush is just another flavor in the wired drinks line up. It is unoriginal and it has nothing special about it. Its a little too sweet and heavy on the stomach. The taste of this drink is a solid berry taste and I'm sure you know how hat tastes. The taste has that very familiar taste most wireds have. The energy was pretty lame and that's because of the lack of ingredients.

Wired X3000

I was happy to see that this wired had more than 47mg of caffeine per serving, and a whopping 3000mg of taurine per can since the other wireds usually have about 60mg. The taste is very close to a Red Bull but there are a few factors that set it apart. The taste has a gum like taste and it is a little bit bitter. There is also a slight berry taste that tastes like sugar. The energy was good but I expected more. But there certainly was more energy than the b12 rush wired or the berry rush wired. The only reason to buy this is that you can often find this drink at a cheep price.

Wired Calcium

Wired with calcium is a drink with a a passion fruit flavor that tastes similar to Jolt Passion Fruit. The Jolt flavor tastes a little better because it has a better balance of sweetness and bitterness because i tasted an odd artificial aftertaste. This drink has impressive ingredients like green tea polyphenols, aloe vera, and calcium. Buying this drink helps support breast cancer. The can contains a 247mg energy blend and that's nothing compared to the other drinks that have a 3000mg energy blend. But i did feel a decent boost and this drink was better than I thought it would be.

24:7 Espresso

This drink is made my Prilabs and is the second coffee drink in the 24:7 line-up. Th taste of this coffee drink was not the best but at least it had an honest coffee flavor. The taste was a bit bitter but it wasn't insanely sweet and milky like the rest of the coffee drinks other companies make. But seriously, why bother to even call this an energy drink when the whole can has 10mg of caffeine and 50mg of taurine? I didn't even feel any energy. Starbucks Bottled frapaccinos have more caffeine in them and give u a better boost than this drink and those aren't even energy drinks!

Full Throttle Bad Mother

Full Throttle's Nature is One Bad Mother drink comes in a green can (hence the nature part) and is an acai berry flavored drink with other natural flavors. The drink is 40% juice and is not very sweet or flavorful. Its thick and the acia berry flavor is accompanied by apple, berry, and pear juice. This drink is barley carbonated and tastes a lot like acai berry Hydrive. The taste is pretty nasty. The energy was disappointing too. It wasn't very strong due to the lack of ingredients. Don't buy this drink hoping for something that will blow your mind with its naturalness.

Crunk

This is Lil Jon's energy drink. It has a cranberry pomegranate taste to it which I'm not a fan of. The taste is kind of like a mixed vegetable juice that is very carbonated. There is some sweetens to it and a little bit of berry. The drink is known for its help in parties and sexual performance. With tons of energy ingredients i did feal a pretty strong boost. Also theres ingredients like horny goat weed and ashwaganda which helps you perform sexually.

Who's Your Daddy Sugar Free

Who's Your Daddy Sugar Free taste very similar to the original Who's Your Daddy energy drink. You might want to check out that review for a more explained review of the taste and energy. The only difference was the absence of sugar. The absence of sugar tasted very obvious in this drink and made it taste very "light". The flavor wasnt as strong either. But the energy boos was quite powerful but it didn't match up with the original Who's Your Daddy.

Go Fast

Go Fast is and energy drink that has Australian honey in it. But I think this drink would of done better without it because it makes the drink thick and sugary. In addition to that, there is a tiny Red Bull taste and some bubble gum taste to it. The drink has an OK taste but then again its kind of nasty. The energy boost is meant for doing physical activity and is very impressive. The boost kicks in fast and sticks with you for a long time.

24:7 Green Apple

These drinks used to be .99 cents but the price has jumped up to and average energy drinks cost. The green apple 24:7 is the first energy drink I am trying in this line of drinks. when I opened the can I found that it is very strong tasting and the green apple flavor is obvious. It tastes like artificial sweeteners and sour green apple candy. The drink does make you stomach feel heavy and is not a good idea to chug because of the sugars and flavors. The energy was ok and it didn't last for a long time. Overall, this drink was not too impressive.

Rockstar Tropical Punch Shot

This 2.5oz shot has a great flavor but is too sweet and a little bitter at the end. It has a sharp tropical taste like Capri Sun but this shot is more flavorful. I does have a little bit of medicinal taste but overall this shot tastes good and sticks to the flavor written on the bottle. With 200mg of caffeine, this energy shot delivers a punch. The energy kicks in fast and sticks with you for a few hours. Rockstar did a good job on this energy shot.

Jolt Passion Fruit

Jolt Passion Fruit comes in the 32 oz can and the 24 oz can. It tastes just like passion fruit and isn't too strong of a flavor because passion fruit tends so be too sweet or too tart. But Jolt made this drink just right. To describe the flavor I would have to say there are some banana, pineapple, and tropical flavors. The energy kick was pretty powerful just like the other Jolts. The energy boost lasted for hours and didn't leave me with a crash. This and the blue Jolts are my favorite Jolts.

Sobe Essential Orange

This drink is 30% juice. It comes in a white can with orange on it. The drink is lightly carbonated and has a nice sweet orange and tangerine taste to it. Its was different than Rumba because i didn't taste any bitterness or any bad aftertaste. The energy level it gives is pretty good and that's because it has 100mg of yerba mate, which is a natural energizing plant. The energy level didn't match up to the Monsters and Rockstars but its nice to know your not packing your body with as much harmful chemicals when you drink this.

NOS

When i finally got this drink i thought i looked so cool drinking it haha. I'm finally reviewing it and for some reason it tastes better than the first time i tried it. It has a lightly carbonated citrus taste with orange as the main flavor. Then there is a mixture of passion fruit flavors also which ad a nice touch to the orange. The energy kick was great and kept me going to a long time. Not as strong as Monster or No Fear but its still up there.

Monster Hitman

This powershot is a 3 oz energy shot designed to give you lots of energy without having to drink a can almost six times larger. I want expecting a bitter disgusting shot because I know Monster would do better than that. And I was right, this drink does taste good. It tastes like the original monster but with a sharper berry flavor. But it does have an off taste because of all those ingredients packed into this bottle. But it is my favorite energy shooter(so far). The energy kick is massive and leaves you powered up for about 6 or 7 hours. I definitely recommend this drink if you want a quick way to get energized without having to drink a big can of monster.

No Fear Motherload

No Fear Motherload is named after the "motherload" of vitamins they put inside of this drink. This drink has a strong citrus flavor, but it has some grapefruit and peach flavors. I like the taste of this drink. And I knew to expect a great kick because the other No Fears have great kicks too. The kick lasted and kept me going strong.

Full Thottle Blue Demon

Don't buy this drink thinking that it will taste like blue raspberry of some kind of candy taste. The Blue agave is described as a funny "tart" flavor that you would expect if you mixed raspberry, apple, and maybe orange juice. You have to try it to understand. It wasn't nasty but it wasn't great. The kick matched up to the rest of the Full Throttle drinks and wasn't that great. Personally, I don't think Full Throttles are that great.

Full Throttle Fury

The first thing I noticed when I tasted this was that it had a strong pomegranate or papaya taste. I only noticed the orange flavor half way into the can. This drink has a pretty high carbonation level and no bad after taste. The taste was ok and it was pretty refreshing to sip on. The energy kick was average but not too special. The energy blend is 3000mg and I didn't really feel all 3000 mg of energy.

Hansens Primal Energy Tea Amazon Citrus

I picked up this drink in the natural section of a store where all the organic products are found. This happens to be where a lot of the Hansen's energy drinks are. The drink is a cloudy yellow color. It tastes a lot like Arizona's Extreme Performance energy drink. The citrus flavor almost makes the drink taste like Mountain Dew but the green tea gives it a distinct tea flavor. The the only problem is that it has a NASTY aftertaste. I'm guessing its the 100mg of egcg but the after taste reminds me of a moldy taste. The energy kick was pretty bold and wasn't associated with any jitters because the caffeine in this drink comes naturally from green tea.

NOS Grape

NOS Grape is inside a 22oz bottle (a 16oz can is pictured because I couldn't find a picture of the bottle) and I wasn't sure if I should get it but i did. And I'm not particularly happy about it. I should of got the 16oz can because after drinking the whole bottle I felt like throwing up. Not because of the taste but just for some reason the sweetness, caffeine, and the bottle size left me a little nauseous. The taste actually isn't that bad. The lightly carbonated grape soda tasting drink was refreshing. The energy kick was great too but with mostly caffeine as an energy ingredient there was indeed a crash.

No Fear

Ive tried this drink a few times but finally decided to review it. The drink is really fizzy and has an interesting taste. Its got a strawberry and grape mix to it but then you also notice one of those funny vegetable juice flavors. But it actually tastes pretty good. And by the way I'm reviewing the can without the Sobe logo and I'm saying this because i hear the two are slightly different. The kick is pretty impressive. I felt a pretty good jolt of energy that lasted for a while and there were no jitters associated with it.

Rockstar Punched Citrus

I grabbed this Rockstar because I really like citrus drinks. I started to drink it and the first thing I noticed was that it tastes like Mountain Dew. Except this drink has a more sweet citrus flavor. I couldn't really taste the acai berry that the can says it includes. I really liked the flavor of this easy to drink Rockstar. I noticed that it has 240mg of caffeine which is twice as much as the other Rockstars. The buzz is great and I started to feel it pretty good after half the can which is unusual for me. I really do recommend that you try this drink.

Nutrisoda Energize

Nutrisoda Energize is one of 8 different drinks produced by Nutrisoda. This drink's flavor is mandarin+mint. The mandarin flavor really stands out. It's accompanied by some citrus flavor that makes this drink taste like 7up with mandarin flavor. The slight mint taste is found in the aftertaste. This drink is vitamin enhanced, has no sugar or sodium, and has only ten calories. I felt the energy boost pretty quickly. The energy kick isn't anything to powerful but its enough to wake you up in the morning and get you going.

Jet Set Original

Jet Set Original is by far my favorite of the jet sets (except for the diet because it tastes the same). It is somewhat a Red Bull clone but you can clearly taste some other flavors. Those flavors would be cherry and strawberry. Together with the red bull taste, its a pretty impressive taste. Also, its pretty highly carbonated. The kick is really powerful and keeps working on you for a long time. Probably a better kick than red bull, but who knows, its probably because of the 10 ounce can.

Amp

Amp tastes kind of like mountain dew. But the after taste kind of ruins it. It tastes kind of tart and oily since one of the ingredients are brominated vegetable oil. Also it has that taste that its been sitting in the can for too ling so it tastes a little bit metallic. But it doesn't taste that bad because the main taste is mountain dew. Now for the energy. The kick isn't that special. It beats drinking a red bull just by an inch. That's probably because the can is twice as big.

King 888 Sugar Free

King 888 is and energy drink that is formulated in Las Vegas, and is probably meant a s a gambling energy drink. The flavor is pretty good. I thought it would be a red bull clone but it wasn't. It tasted like carbonated grapefruit juice. It wasn't like squirt or source burn, it was a little bit more tangy. It had a nice sharp flavor, but still went down smooth. It tastes the same as the original but it has less sugar, so its less sweet. You can feel the energy, just like from the original. Its a pretty strong boost.

FRS Wild Berry

FRS stands for free radical scavenger. It's an antioxidant health/energy drink. The flavor is a tart wild berry juice. Its non carbonated. The after taste is pretty sweet but the vitamin taste overpowers it. All in all, FRS tastes ok but its not something you would call a favorite. The kick is moderate and is long lasting. It feels like a refreshing healthy boost of energy.

Monster Java Big Black

Big Black is a very smooth and great tasting coffee energy drink. IT has a little to much sugar in it but the dark coffee taste evens it out. Like i said, its very smooth and not too thick. It tastes similar to loca mocha but this has more coffee flavor to it. The kick it gave was just like all the other monsters. Monster states that the java has half the caffeine of coffee, and twice the buzz.

King 888 Gold

King 888 gold is simple a ginger ale energy drink. The gold means that it is "superior strength and quality". The ginger ale has a citrusy taste at the end along with some bitterness. The flavor is really sharp, just like the original. You don't taste to much sugar but it has about 30grams. I don't know why they wrote superior strength because i felt the same boost as the original. They are both drinks with a great taste and a strong energy boost. *note that the can i drank looked a little bit different than the one in the picture.

King 888

Nos Friut Punch

Nos fruit punch is a strong flavored fruit punch with carbonation. It tastes like a fruit punch soda, so it tastes fake. The flavor is strong with cherry, orange, and some other flavors i cant describe. It has a bitter aftertaste which is not so refreshing. The drink isn't perfect but at least its not gross. There's 250mg of caffeine. The kick is pretty good, better than the taste.

Pixie Mate Lemon Ginger

Pixie Mate lemon ginger is an organic energy drink with 5 times the antioxidants as a cup of green tea. The main energy providers are yerba mat and caffeine. This drink has a pretty awkward flavor to it. Its like a clack iced tea with ginger flavorings to it, and some lemon. The lemon is what keeps the flavor together. This one isn't as gross as the other pixie mate drinks but i still don't really like it. The only thing i look forward to is the energy these drinks give. The caffeine buzz starts off as a normal 120mg buzz. then the yerba equals it out and makes it feel like a strong healthy buzz.

Pixie Mate Authentic

Pixie mate authentic tastes like a mixture of strong teas and yerba mate. It sordof reminds me of iced tea, but this has other flavors in it. The smell is really organic. This drink doesn't tastes like and energy drink. I think it tastes more like grass steeped in water. But It's really healthy. It has 5 times the antioxidants than a serving of green tea. The energy is pretty good. It has 120mg of all natural caffeine. The yerba mate really does give you a kick. It is a really refreshing buzz and is impressive for only caffeine and yerba mate.

Bloom Wild Berry

Bloom wild berry is tons of flavors but the most noticeable ones were the raspberry and blackberry. The flavor is not to strong, because if it was the blackberry and raspberry would make it bitter. The other flavors i could taste were pear and grape. This drink is really refreshing and kind of tastes like fruit punch. I really liked it. The kick is OK but its not outstanding, and I didn't feel a good buzz. It's pretty healthy and has antioxidants in it so I would call it more of a healthy energy juice.

Ol' Glory

Old Glory tastes like Loud Sitrus Stunner, but without the orange flavor. It tastes like gummy candies you buy in a store, but in liquid form. It sordof has a mix of pineapple lemon flavoring. I havent tried a drink like this so I'm happy I'm not drinking another Red Bull clone (what I thought this drink was going to be). The energy was pretty good. It's not comparable the the buzz of a monster but I did feal some energy.

Monster Mean Bean

I'm a big fan of coffee energy drinks so I knew I would like this, having already tried the Moca Loca. This drink was pretty similar. The coffee is really good. Its really high quality tasting and its nice and thick like you would want coffee to be. I can taste they used milk which really helps the taste. The energy was really strong. It gave me a massive morning boost and that's just what I'd Expect from Monster.

Rumba

Rumba energy is a drink that tastes like orange juice. It tastes like an orange juice that is more watered down. Usually orange juice is very thick, this drink goes down real easily and is very light (as in not thick). Also, it has a slight aftertaste that's kind of bitter, just as you'd expect from other energy drinks. The energy is pretty good, i don't get any jitters but I do feel some energy.

Cintron Tropical Azul

Cintron Tropical Azul is a carbonated fruit punch with an original flavor. It has a distinctive blue raspberry taste. The rest of the flavors tastes like pineapple, orange and cherry. The carbonation stings when you drink the drink cold which is actually pretty good. Its not thick and not bitter either. The energy was strong and it gave me a pretty good boost.

Ace

This drink has a really cool can. But all the ace cans have the same description and stuff so its kind of lame. The drink Reminds me 0f Red Bull and Kronik Grind. But it tastes more like Kronik because its like a sweet version of Red Bull. It also has a nice cotton candy taste to it. The energy is great too. It pumps you up good and has a great boost for a 16 oz.

Jolt Ultra: Sugar Free

I Imagined this would be a either sprite tasting drink or some other energy drink flavor but this was a lemon like drink. Although it does not say it in the can, you can clearly make out the lemon citrus taste. Its very refreshing. You cant taste any sugar (obviously) so it tastes kind of watery of blank, but still good. The energy is still awesome. IT gives you a solid bust without jitters that shake your legs.

Jolt Power Cola

Jolt power cola is just a soda but its super charged with energy. The taste is like Pepsi or Coke but its not as strong. It does have great flavor and no aftertaste at all. I like the idea of having a energy cola because you can take a break from all those unusual energy drink flavors. The energy is really powerful. Just as you would get from a Jolt. You don't get that many jitters but you can still feel the energy sneaking up on you.

Jolt Orange Blast

Jolt orange blast is not anything like a lot of the other orange energy drinks like rumba, or Ace +Juice. Its more of a candyish taste. Or like a semi-sweet orange soda. One thing I realized is that Jolts don't taste like energy drinks, they each taste like a different flavored soda. The energy wasn't surprising. I knew I would get that killer kick. And I did. Jolt is a really powerful brand of energy drinks, the only problem is that once you drink all of it your stomach is a pound heavier.

Jolt Cherry Bomb

I have been waiting a long time to try this. I always saw it at the store but never really thought of buying it. Anyways lets talk about the flavor. I thought of it as being some sweet cherry drink but its a cola type of drink. It tastes like a mix of Dr. Pepper and Cherry Pepsi. But more of a cherry flavored Dr. Pepper. I like it because it gives me a nice jolt when I need it. The energy is powerful. Its better that a monster but that's probably because its 24 ounces.

Jolt Blue Raspberry

This is the first Jolt I've ever tried and I'm really exited. When I Opened it I smelled a pleasant blueraspberry smell. The taste was extremely good. It was the candy blue taste and its was made just right. Its not too syrupy and not to watery. The sugar content is low so the taste isn't too strong and doesn't leave a sugary taste in your mouth. Its by far the best blue raspberry drink Ive tried. AS for the energy, that was awesome too. This drink will also rock your world with energy. I'm sure you've heard that jolts are really powerful. Well they are. Go buy one.

Ace Lo-Cal

Ace lo-cal is a low calorie and low sugar energy drink, with only 3 grams of sugar. Its also my favorite ace energy drink. The flavor is really close to monster low carb, and its not to different to all the other low carb energy drinks. It has a candy grape and gum taste which is really good. The drink is not thick so it does down easy. Its one of my favorite drinks in terms of taste. The energy didnt catch up as much. Although you get a good considerable boost, it doesn't match up to monster.

Mamajuana

This is a cool drink because instead of having to drink a whole 16 ounce can, that by the time your done with it either the day is over or your stomach is overfilled, you can drink this 2 ounce energy shot. Your supposed to get the same energy anyway. Also, i love the name. It smells like a super sweet strawberry drink. And it tastes like a very strong strawberry flavored drink with some citrus and other indescribable flavors. I cant help noticing that fluoride taste you get when the dentist asks you to gargle fluoride. Its pretty distinctive. But if you get rid of that taste this drink is super good. I can understand why its in a 2 ounce- the flavor is so strong it would be kind of weird drinking 6 more ounces. Also, they have to pack so much energy into it that they have to make the flavor strong so you wouldn't taste the caffeine. Also, this drink gives you a ton of energy and has 200 mg of caffeine. That's pretty good for a 2 ounce bottle.

Hydrive Pomegranate

Here's one of hydrives oldest drinks. Hydrive makes all there drinks out of natural spring water so I guess that's good. This drink is pretty bitter withe the pomegranate taste, and also tart because it has cranberry taste in it. I don't really like the taste but its better than the dragon fruit one. The energy is pretty good and not that exiting. Its the kind of drink that would be good to bring on a hike.

Hydrive Acai Berry

This is one of hydrives older drinks. What makes these unique is that they are non carbonated and made with natural spring water. This acai flavor is a little different than the rest. Its now like the full throttle nature is a bad mother. It tastes more natural. When you drink it you get that feeling that all your spit just got harder to swallow. Also, it tastes like blue raspberry. It may seem weird, but that taste overpowers the acai berry. It has a good energy boost and its a great thirst quencher.

Hydrive Kiwi Lime

This is one of hydrives older drinks, i think it used to be called casaba lime, I'm not sure that could of been a different drink. This drink got me exited because kiwi lime sounded really good. And it was good but the taste is somehow not quite. The lime has a weird flavor tat didn't mix with the kiwi how it should, making a totally different taste. But it was still good and I liked it. It's refreshing because its made of spring water. The energy wasn't what you would get from a 16 ounce can, it wasn't even as good as a 8 ounce red bull can, It was just a small burst of energy. I recommend you try it, its really good but it doesn't serve much purpose as an energy drink.
